Normandy 1944

Esta partida ha sido más una toma de contacto del reglamento por parte de mi oponente, que una partida seria de ganar.

En esta ocasión ha sido sin objetivos concretos y a 2.000 puntos.

Para el tablero de juego, urtilicemos una mesa que el día anterior otros jugadores utilizaron para otro reglamento, también de 2GM a 15mm.

This game has been more a contact of the regulation by my opponent, than a game would be to win.

On this occasion it has been without concrete objectives and 2,000 points.

For the game board, we use a table that the previous day other players used for another regulation, also from 2GM to 15mm

Por el bando Norteamericano, llevé un grupo de 6 unidades de infantería Green, apoyados por una HMG. Así mismo tenía una batería de artillería off Table (en la imagen a modo de marcador), con dos tiros programados en lugares concretos.

For the North American side, I led a group of 6 units of Green infantry, supported by an HMG. He also had an artillery battery off Table (in the image as a marker), with two shots programmed in specific places.

El mando de la infantería no tenía nada claro el atacar el pueblo, y hasta el tercer o cuarto turno, no decidió salir al campo de batalla (es lo que tiene que los dados no acompañen a con la partida).

Por otro lado y asignados al capitán de mi compañía, un par de morteros a apoyo, colocados en el centro de mi avance, para poder apoyar sobre todo el campo de batalla.

The command of the infantry did not have anything clear to attack the town, and until the third or fourth turn, it did not decide to go out to the battlefield (it is what it has that the dice do not accompany to the game).

Por la parte alemana, mi contrincante utilizó sus Panzer  para avanzar por su flanco izquierdo, enfrentándose a mis Shermans.

On the German side, my opponent used his Panzer to advance on his left flank, facing my Shermans.

El centro alemán estuvo totalmente abandonado por ellos, por lo que mis impactos programados de artillería no sirvieron para nada.

The German center was totally abandoned by them, so my scheduled artillery impacts were useless.

Mientras su infantería avanzando por su flanco derecho, se hizo fuerte en la iglesia de la población.

While his infantry advancing on his right flank, he became strong in the church of the town.

El antiaéreo desplegado, en vista que los aliados no trajimos aviones, lo adelanto contra mi infantería, en el intento de hacer daño, apoyado por su vehículo de reconocimiento. Afortunadamente mi oficial al mando de los mismos, resultó un tanto… “prudente” y no avanzó lo que tenía que avanzar.
