Roman Legions Vs Íberian Hispanics

Vuelvo con una nueva partida que se realizó también en las Barcino Colonia Romae del año 2014, entre legiones romanas e Íberos.

I'm back with a new game that was also held at the Barcino Colonia Romae in 2014, between the Roman legions and the Iberians.

Por un lado estaban los Íberos.

On one side were the Iberians.

Y por el otro, las legiones romanas.

And on the other, the Roman legions.

El avance se realiza rápido y con maniobras de cambios de posición de tropas.

The advance is made quickly and with maneuvers of changes of position of troops.

Los carros ardiendo íberos, son lanzados contra los romanos del bloque central.

The Iberian burning cars, are thrown against the Romans of the central block.

Y los Auxilias no tardan en contactar con las tropas romanas.

And the Auxilias do not take long to contact the Roman troops.

En el flanco izquierdo, los movimientos tácticos íberos y los combates, no se hacen esperar.

On the left flank, Iberian tactical movements and combats, do not wait.

Los romanos no se quedan a la zaga en el flanco derecho.

Y el combate duro en todos los frentes, no tarda en llegar.

And the hard fight on all fronts, does not take long to arrive.

Pero los Íberos van teniendo más bajas que su contrincante.

But the Iberians are having more casualties than their opponent.

 Al final, victoria romana “por abusones”.

In the end, Roman victory "for bullies".

Las risas y el divertimento fue total.

The laughter and the fun was total.

Como cada año, he acudido a la cita de primeros de junio, las Barcino Colonia Romae, en la que desde +1 al Dau hemos montado una mesa para enseñar el juego a todo curioso.

Y este año hemos invitado a VIIII Legión, que han montado una mesa en la que han estado jugando sin descanso y contestado preguntas del juego.

As every year, I went to the appointment of the first of June, the Barcino Colonia Romae, in which from +1 al Dau we have set up a table to teach the game to all curious.

And this year we have invited VIIII Legion, who have set up a table in which they have been playing tirelessly and answered questions about the game.

En la mesa de demos, nuestro compañero David Cantó, no paró ni un momento en contestar cuantas cuestiones pudiesen surgir a curiosos y a los conocedores del juego.

At the demo table, our colleague David Cantó, did not stop for a moment to answer as many questions could arise to the curious and the connoisseurs of the game.

Así como a hacer demostraciones a todo el que quiso sentarse en la mesa.

As well as to make demonstrations to everyone who wanted to sit at the table.

Mientras en la mesa de al lado, de nuestros compañeros de VIIII Legión, iban haciendo partidas para que se viese la espectacularidad del juego.

While at the next table, our companions VIIII Legion, were doing games to see the spectacular game.

Y así nos pasó el sábado, durante la mañana y la tarde. Saludando a viejos conocidos y a nuevos curiosos.

And so it happened to us on Saturday, during the morning and afternoon. Greeting old acquaintances and new onlookers.

Cada año en el barrio de Sants de Barcelona, celebran las Barcino Colonia Romae, en las que se realizan actividades entorno a la época en la que Barcelona fue una colonia comercial influyente en el imperio romano.

En una de las primera que participé, invitado por Magister Militum, fue en 2014.

Esta jornada se realiza en la calle, a modo de mercado antiguo, en la que estamos una resie de entidades y actividades bajo carpas.

En esta jornada se puede encontrar prácticamente de todo relacionado con el mundo romano. Desde la adquisición de elementos cotidianos de uso doméstico.

Every year in the Sants district of Barcelona, they celebrate the Barcino Colonia Romae, in which activities take place around the time when Barcelona was an influential commercial colony in the Roman Empire.

In one of the first ones I participated, invited by Magister Militum, it was in 2014.

This day is held on the street, as an old market, in which we are a resie of entities and activities under tents.

On this day you can find almost everything related to the Roman world. From the acquisition of everyday household items.

Pasando por cursos de realización de mosaicos.

Passing mosaic courses.

Y todo ello vigilado por los legionarios romanos.

And all this watched by the Roman legionaries.

Y, como no, una mesa de wargames DBMM para amenizar a los interesados en la temática.

Por ello, unos cuantos amigos nos dispusimos a realizar esta demos del juego.

And, of course, a table of DBMM wargames to entertain those interested in the subject.

Therefore, a few friends set out to make this game demos.

Y tras varias horas por la mañana y por la tarde, enseñando a propios y extraños, se nos pasó el día entre pilums romanos y jabalinas íberas.

And after several hours in the morning and in the afternoon, teaching our own and strangers, we spent the day between Roman pilums and Iberian javelins.
