En el marco de la quedada de jugadores de DBMM, en febrero de 2016, tuve la oportunidad de poder entablar una partida con David Cantó, entre mis íberos y, en este caso, sus medievales.

In the framework of the DBMM players meeting, in February 2016, I had the opportunity to start a game with David Cantó, between my Iberians and, in this case, their medieval ones.

El choque entre las tropas montadas no se hizo esperar.

The clash between the mounted troops was immediate.

 Pero mi caballería no alcanzó a sus auxilias, más recatados para el combate.

But my cavalry did not reach their aid, more demure for combat.

Aunque en su flanco izquierdo de su unidad central, los ballesteros me iban a dar problemas.

Although on their left flank of their central unit, the crossbowmen were going to give me trouble.

Pero la caballería Medieval, de su flanco derecho, entro también rápidamente en contacto con mis Auxilias y Psilois.

But the Medieval cavalry, on their right flank, also quickly came into contact with my Auxilies and Psilois.

En mi flanco derecho tuvimos un toma y daca, hasta que unas unidades de caballería íbera consiguieron flanquear a su caballería medeval.

On my right flank we had a give and take, until some Iberian cavalry units managed to flank their Medeval cavalry.

Los Ballesteros rechazan a mi caballería y  la dejan bastante diezmada.

The Crossbowmen reject my cavalry and leave it quite decimated.

Aunque mi flanco izquierdo consigue romper la linea enemiga e iniciar el flanqueo.

Although my left flank manages to break the enemy line and initiate flanking.

Al final, mis Íberos perdieron, más por la experiencia en el juego de David, que aprovechó mis huecos, que por mi estrategia.

Si los dados al final me hubiesen acompañado, sólo en la defensa, la batalla habría tenido otro resultado.

In the end, my Iberians lost, more because of David's experience in the game, who took advantage of my holes, than because of my strategy.

If the dice at the end had accompanied, only in defense, the battle would have had another result.

Mi centro y mi flanco derecho prácticamente desaparecieron y no me dio tiempo de envolver al enemigo.

Eso si, buena compañía y muchas risas en compañía de más gente durante la quedada de jugadores de DBMM que se realizó.

My center and my right flank practically disappeared and I didn't have time to envelop the enemy.

Of course, good company and a lot of laughter in the company of more people during the DBMM players meeting that took place.
