Nuevamente preparamos una nueva partida de la variación del
DBMM, en su vertiente más de fantasía, el DBMF, para terminar de comprobar si
funciona y es jugable.
Para ello Strategus trajo 100 ptos de Goblins y yo de Altos
Elfos. Y con cantidad de arqueros y un mago por banda, para probar los ataques
a distancia.
Y la disposición fue muy sencilla y nada estratégico.
Again we
prepare a new game of the variation of the DBMM, in its more fantasy side, the
DBMF, to finish checking if it works and is playable.
For this,
Strategus brought 100 ptos of Goblins and I of High Elves. And with an amount
of archers and a magician per band, to test the attacks from a distance.
And the
arrangement was very simple and nothing strategic.

The goblins,

Como quiero ver como funcionan las unidades en esta versión,
lanzo el bloque principal con los arqueros por delante, y al mago lo dejo con
unas pocas unidades por mi flanco derecho.

Y, al igual que el mago goblin, mi mago va haciendo meya en
las tropas goblins.

Una unidad de psilois frena en seco el avance de una unidad
de fanáticos.
A psilois unit

Al final el ataque combinado de mis arqueros con los
lanceros, consiguen zafarse de uno de los Troll.
Mi comandante queda trabado con el otro Troll (lo dicho, los
dados no me acompañaron).

the Troll.
My commander is

Pero el combate es más fiero de lo que al principio parecía.
Mis Psiliois deben retroceder y dejar paso a la unidad del carro para combatir
contra el fanático, , mientras que otra unidad psiloi lo ataca por el lateral.
But the fight
is fiercer than it seemed at first. My Psilois must retreat and make way for

Mientras, los arqueros goblins eliminan a mi mago. Y deja

Llegado a este punto el desastre es total para los altos
elfos.
Los espaderos son expulsados e inician una maniobra de “avance
inverso” y el desechable consigue elimina a mi carro, aunque también desaparece
en la acción.

filas.

El final de la partida llega y los goblins han ganado por
aplastante eliminación de tropas élficas.

Una buena partida en la que se comprueba que los arqueros en
este juego tienen un papel sumamente importante, la cantidad de tropas también es
importante, y que no se puede tener a los magos expuestos a ataques a
distancia, ya que son demasiado vulnerables.
Y los desechables funcionan muy bien, algo que ya sabía, ya
que mis íberos llevan carros en llamas desechables, entre otros, y pueden hacer
mucho daño. Lo que está claro es que para mis unidades élficas, debo encontrar
el equilibrio de tropas, haber diversificado para poder saber como reaccionan, no
me ha permitido tener un grupo compacto y homogéneo.
A good game
that shows that the archers in this game have an extremely important role, the
number of troops is also important, and that you can not have wizards exposed
to attacks from a distance, because they are too vulnerable.
And the disposables
work very well, something I already knew, since my Iberians carry cars in
disposable flames, among others, and they can do a lot of damage. What is clear
is that for my elven units, I must find the balance of troops, have diversified
to know how they react, has not allowed me to have a compact and homogeneous
group.
