Nueva partida de aprendizaje de Shako II.
El escenario fue un tanto Random, ya que los tres que participábamos
fuimos poniendo elementos escenográficos de forma aleatoria, quedando un campo
de batalla con un poco de todo.
New training game for Shako II.
The stage was somewhat Random, since the three
of us who participated were putting elements in a random way, leaving a
battlefield with a bit of everything.
El despliegue de ambos jugadores fue muy tradicional y, para
poder tomar contacto del reglamento por parte de uno de ellos y para avanzar en
el conocimiento del mismo por parte de los otros dos, fue perfecto.
The deployment of both players was very
traditional and, to be able to make contact with the regulations by one of them
and to advance in the knowledge of it by the other two, it was perfect.
La caballería francesa tomó posiciones en su flanco derecho.
The French cavalry took positions on their
right flank.
Su artillería en el centro, despreciando una colina cercana.
His artillery in the center, despising a nearby
hill.
Y el resto de tropas, distribuidas entre el centro y su
flanco izquierdo.
And the rest of troops, distributed between the
center and its left flank.
Por parte de los prusianos, su artillería prefirió desplegar
en una colina en su flanco izquierdo.
On the part of the Prussians, their artillery
preferred to deploy on a hill on their left flank.
Una parte de la infantería por el centro del campo de
batalla.
A part of the infantry through the center of
the battlefield.
Y otra parte por su flanco derecho, junto con su caballería.

El ejército francés no dudo de ir al combate rápidamente, y
así tomar contacto con las reglas lo antes posible.
Su caballería se lanzó contra la infantería prusiana que
estaba en un campo de trigo, de forma “agresiva”.
The French army does not hesitate to go to
combat quickly, and thus make contact with the rules as soon as possible.
His cavalry was launched against the Prussian
infantry that was in a wheat field, in an "aggressive" manner.
Los prusianos, en vista de la que le venía encima, optaron
por ponerse en cuadro.

En el flanco izquierdo (visto desde el avance francés), los prusianos
entraron en la población, pero con intención de pasar de largo, no tomándola.
On the left flank (seen from the French

El combate de la caballería francesa contra la infantería
prusiana, fue bastante curiosa.
The combat of the French cavalry against the
Prussian infantry was quite curious.
Por su parte los prusianos, con su caballería, hicieron lo
mismo por el flanco izquierdo. Los franceses, en un alarde de disciplina,
consiguieron formar cuadro en último momento.
For their part, the Prussians, with their
cavalry, did the same for the left flank. The French, in a display of
discipline, managed to form a box at the last moment.
La caballería francesa tuvieron resultados desiguales. Por
un lado uno de los batallones consigue eliminar a un batallón de infantería,
pero la otra caballería no consigue su objetivo y quedan enzarzados en el
combate.
The French cavalry had mixed results. On the
one hand one of the battalions manages to eliminate an infantry battalion, but
the other cavalry does not achieve its objective and they are locked in combat.
Estas unidades quedaron agotadas, y flanqueadas por tropas
de infantería que no dudaron, posteriormente, en hacer fuego de mosquetería
sobre ellos.
These units were exhausted, and flanked by infantry
troops who did not hesitate, later, to fire musketry on them.
Por su parte, los prusianos si que hicieron bien su trabajo,
eliminando al batallón francés en el sembrado.
For their part, the Prussians did their job
well, eliminating the French battalion in the field.
La infantería, tras atravesar la población, estuvieron
preparados para el combate y proteger a la caballería, para que sus caballos
descansaran.
The infantry, after crossing the population,
were prepared for the combat and to protect the cavalry, so that their horses

La infantería francesa, con algo de retraso, fueron en pos
de su caballería, para sacarlas del fregado en el que se habían metido.
Con el problema de quedar completamente expuestos en su avance
por la artillería prusiana, que desde la colina tenían una posición ventajosa
para ir “ablandado” a las tropas.
The French infantry, with some delay, went
after their cavalry, to remove them from the scrubbing they had gotten into.
With the problem of being completely exposed in
their advance by the Prussian artillery, which from the hill had an
advantageous position to go "softened" to the troops.
La caballería francesa quedó muy descompuesta en su retroceso,
y en muy mala posición.
The French cavalry was very decomposed in its
recoil, and in very bad position.
Al final los prusianos vencieron, ya que su artillería pudo
estar disparando en todos los turnos, al estar elevado, cosa que la artillería
francesa, prácticamente no existió en el terreno de combate.
In the end the Prussians won, since their
artillery could be firing in all turns, being elevated, something that the
French artillery, practically did not exist in the battlefield.
Al final el jugador francés comentó que había jugado
pensando que todos los reglamentos permiten ciertas “libertades poéticas”, pero
vio que shako II se mucho más histórico y hace que las partidas, aunque
pierdan, sean más compensado, por lo que un error estratégico inicial (los
cañones), hace que su ejército quedase descompensado.
Tal como pasaría en la realidad.
In the end the French player commented that he
had played thinking that all the regulations allow certain "poetic
liberties", but he saw that Shako II is much more historical and makes the
games, even if they lose, are more compensated, so an initial strategic error
(the guns), makes his army decompensated.
As it would happen in reality.
Ha sido una partida interesante en la que se han planteado
una serie de maniobras con reglas nuevas que hasta ahora no habían salido
(cuadros, cargas de caballería sobre cuadros, apoyo de fuego de mosquetería a
los cuadros por batallones en línea contra la caballería, caballería agotada…).
Shako II es un juego que está muy bien solucionado el tema
de maniobras y combates, por lo menos para mi gusto y para los que toman
contacto con él, en especial si han pasado por otros juegos más de moda que
permiten ciertas disonancias, les interesa volver a quedar para seguir viendo
como funciona el juego, y para mi es una escusa para remirarme el reglamento,
en especial para estas reglas que van surgiendo durante la partida.
It has been an interesting game in which a
series of maneuvers have been proposed with new rules that until now had not
come out (paintings, loads of cavalry on paintings, support of musketry fire to
paintings by online battalions against cavalry, cavalry exhausted ...).
Shako II is a game that is very well solved the
issue of maneuvers and fighting, at least for my taste and for those who make
contact with him, especially if they have gone through other games more
fashionable allowing certain dissonances, interest to stay again to continue
seeing how the game works, and for me it is an excuse to review the rules,
especially for these rules that arise during the game.
